Oregon sunstone, aka heliolite, are mined in Oregon as the name mentions. There are sunstone gemstones are also found in Siberia and Norway. Sunstone belongs to the feldspar group which includes amazonite and moonstone. Sunstone beads have a sparkly glitter that is almost metallic, and it is called aventurescense which is caused by reflective inclusions. The inclusions can be copper, hematite, or other minerals. But please be aware that not all sunstones contain that aventurescense.
